Icon in the selection screen

This tip will show you how to put an icon on your selection screen.

Version 4.6C

You can put an icon on your selection screen. For example- you could use this to inform users that a progam is...

long-running. You have to do the following:

Add comment to your selection screen:
SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT 5(30) text-001.
Create a Text symbol for text-001 like '

-->

@ Long running
report!', where @19@ is the icon for ICON_MESSAGE_INFORMATION (You can check
the codes with report SHOWICON).

Incho
NOTE: There are some restriction: - @xx@ works only in the
first position, not in the middle of the text symbol.
- you have to wrap your other selection screen element with
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK / END OF BLOCK.

Code: *eject
*=============================================================
* Selection Screen
*=============================================================
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF BLOCK main WITH FRAME TITLE text-b01.

SELECT-OPTIONS:

      so_matnr FOR wa_mdps-matnr MEMORY ID mar
           MATCHCODE OBJECT mat1 OBLIGATORY,

     so_werks FOR wa_mdps-werks MEMORY ID wrk,

        so_dat00 for wa_mdps-dat00.

SELECTION-SCREEN END OF BLOCK main .

SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT 3(30) text-001.
