How to use negative numbers in maintenance views

When you create a maintenance view for a dictionary table, by default numeric fields can not hold negative values. Learn how to circumvent this problem.

When you create a maintenance view for a dictionary table, by default numeric fields can not hold negative values. To be able to use negative numbers in a numeric field, the letter 'V' must be added to the end of the default value of the field.
