As Valentine's Day approaches, partnerships appear to be flourishing with several business software companies announcing new relationships this week.

p>Englishtown becomes SAP partner

Englishtown Inc., Cambridge, Mass., an online English language school, has been selected as an SAP Learning Solution content partner. Through this partnership, SAP Learning Solution users will have access by subscription to Englishtown, an online language school that combines live, teacher-led conversation classes with interactive self-study lessons to teach English online.

FileTek partners with Sap Portals

FileTek Inc., Rockville, Md., a data storage and access management systems provider, has signed a technology and content partner agreement with SAP Portals, Silicon Valley, Calif. The two companies have integrated the FileTek StorHouse data management system into the SAP Business Information Warehouse product.

DataMirror teams with Intermec Technologies

DataMirror, Toronto, Canada, an enterprise application integration and resiliency solutions provider, has partnered with Intermec Technologies Corp., Everett, Mass., a provider of supply chain software and automated data collection devices. The two companies will market DataMirror's mobile connectivity solution for SAP and other back-end enterprise resource planning systems. DataMirror will provide the software and Intermec will provide the hardware.

PeopleSoft implementation cited

The Aberdeen Group recognized Surebridge Inc., an application outsourcer in Lexington, Mass., for its work implementing PeopleSoft financial applications for Context Integration, a custom-built e-business software maker. The report entitled, What Works: 10 Significant ASP Implementations, investigated how organizations, in a variety of industries, benefit from adopting the application outsourcing model. The Aberdeen Group is an analyst firm in Boston, Mass.

New business analytic software ready

Business Objects, San Jose, Calif., has developed new analytic application modules for its business analytic applications suite. They are BusinessObjects Source Analytics, BusinessObjects Deliver Analytics, and BusinessObjects Revenue Cycle Analytics. Business Object now offers eight analytic application modules that deal with customers, products, services, supply chain and operations.
