Management for SAP data archiving

BMC Software Inc., Houston, Texas, introduced a management offering to support SAP data archiving products. BMC Software has incorporated support for data archiving into its business integrated scheduling solution CONTROL-M so SAP customers can manage, schedule and monitor their archiving sessions to achieve fluent and automatic business process flow.

Linux for SAP

Network Appliance Inc., Sunnyvale, Calif., a provider of network-attached data access and content delivery products, has developed a new product that automates and simplifies the implementation of Linux servers with SAP products, including the e-business platform.

SAP starts e-biz research program

SAP America Inc., Newtown Square, Pa., has invited colleges and universities to join an e-business research program to promote study and innovation in the development and implementation of successful e-business strategies. SAP also issued a call for research to academicians for the 2002 SAP International Innovation Congress, Feb. 23 to 25, in Tampa, Fla. The deadline for submissions is Dec. 12.

Hubwoo joins GTWA

Hubwoo, France, has joined The Global Trading Web Association, Santa Fe, N.M., an independent membership organization of electronic marketplaces. Hubwoo designs, develops and operates private online business-to-business marketplaces for large companies. STACI and SAP(are both stakeholders in the company. Hubwoo is the first non-Commerce One-based e-marketplace to become a member of GTWA, which invites other electronic marketplaces conducting e-commerce on a variety of technology platforms to join its ranks.

Getpaid goes for J2EE

The Getpaid Corp., Parsippany, N. J., a supplier of receivable management software and services, announced it is embracing Java 2 Enterprise Edition technology. Getpaid has released GetPAID 7i Enterprise, an n-tiered, J2EE compliant product. The company is partners with both Oracle and SAP.
