Initially, the companies will focus on SAP Business Information Warehouse customers to provide them with a way to integrate data from any source into their data warehouses.

Stamford, Conn.-based Optimum Logistics has announced a new release of its supply chain software, TransLink. The new release features an inventory-forecasting module that integrates terminal, tank, product and shipment information for inventory reporting and alerts across all locations.

WebMethods announces global system integrator agreement with HP

Fairfax, Va.-based webMethods Inc. has announced a systems integration agreement that allows Palo Alto, Calif.-based Hewlett-Packard Co. to offer the webMethods integration platform as premier software within HP Consulting. The agreement will focus primarily on opportunities in the manufacturing and supply chain industries as well as those involving the HP OpenView product offering for systems management.
