Cookie manufacturer uses mySAP to take bite out of procurement costs
SAP's longtime customer Keebler Co. has implemented mySAP E-Procurement, enabling the procurement of indirect goods via the Internet, in six weeks.
Elmhurst, Ill.-based Keebler, the second-largest cookie and cracker manufacturer in the United States, implemented the mySAP E-Procurement solution to enable indirect procurement while cutting costs and simplifying its internal procurement processes. Keebler's implementation effort was accomplished with a dedicated project team of four and help from SAP and consultant PricewaterhouseCoopers. Keebler has rolled out the mySAP E-Procurement solution in three organizational units and plans to continue the rollout to more than 150 additional sites.
Navicor earns my SAP.com hosting certification
Navicor, the application hosting division of Folsom, Calif.-based consulting firm ea consulting, has earned SAP certification as a mySAP.com hosting partner. In order to earn the distinction, Navicor was evaluated on its reliability in delivering high service level guarantees, its customer satisfaction scores, its scalability and, its security.
Navicor is a newly formed division of ea consulting that offers turn-key, best-practice, integrated solutions, including financials, human resources, sales and distribution, and purchasing for public sector and manufacturing customers. Navicor's solutions are primarily based upon the mySAP.com application.
Consulting firm earns mySAP certification
Minneapolis-based e-business consulting firm PRAGMATEK Consulting Group has been certified as a mySAP.com service partner. The company says it is the first in the Twin Cities to earn the distinction. The certification enables PRAGMATEK to offer e-business consulting, evaluation, implementation, knowledge management and continuous system integration for mySAP.com solutions.
PRAGMATEK began providing support for SAP R/3 implementations in 1996. In early 2000, the firm was certified as a SAP national implementation partner and an accelerated SAP partner of SAP America, to focus on faster software integration for mid-market companies.
SAP America inks new user training pact
SAP America will begin providing change management, user training and support services to SAP customer companies through a strategic alliance with RWD Technologies, Inc. in Columbia, Md.
The partnership's new user training and support service offerings will be called "SAP User Training and Performance Solutions...Powered by RWD." They will complement existing project team training programs that SAP provides. The new offerings will focus on user need assessments and analysis, content creation, training rollout strategies, training delivery, change management and continuous improvement.
New job for former SAP America executive
Omnexus, a global online plastics e-marketplace headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, has named Peter Dunning as its chief executive officer. Dunning is a former executive vice president with SAP America where he led the Global Accounts Business Unit.
Most recently Dunning served as president and CEO for FacilityPro.com, a business-to business marketplace for owners, managers and suppliers in the commercial real estate industry.
