I want to implement Business Workflow in my organization. I was told that Business Workflow uses a lot of memory...
space and it will slow down the other process. Is it true?
There is no doubt that performance is an important aspect of Workflow. However, since it is usually poorly understood it is often overlooked. I don't see any difference between Workflow and standard ABAP report writing or dialogue programming. If a developer is coding a report which will deal with large volumes of data then he/she will take care to write efficient code. The same holds true for Workflow.
