Which SAP administration modules suit sys admins and DBA?

Learn which SAP module is best for someone with system administrator experience and what an SAP administrator should learn prior to an SAP implementation.

Our company is going to implement SAP. I am a system administrator and an Oracle database administrator. Please advise me as to which module of SAP suits my profile.

SAP education offers some good courses to get you going. Both SAPNW and SAPTEC (which are three days long) give you some basic knowledge of the SAP NetWeaver architecture and the different SAP components. Both courses are for project and IT managers.

Next is the NetWeaver curriculum, which goes deeper into SAP administration, performance and tuning, SAP installation...
