I am using REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY. The first column of my report is a check box. I want to be able to either of the following based on some value in each of my data lines: (1) turn off the ability to update the check box (I.E., make it not eligible for input) or (2) not display the check box at all. For instance if I have a field in a table that has values in it. I might want to turn the editing of the checkbox "off" based on the value in that table field.
I don't think it is possible to enable/disable a single cell with the ALV Grid Control. You have to format the entire column. Consider using classic interactive list, or dialog programming instead. You have much finer control over these. Certainly with dialog programming using a Step-Loop, you can easily control individual cells. It is also possible using the table control.
