I want to trigger a mail to go out whenever a background job is started, finished or terminated. Is this possible through Workflow? I could find the Business Object 'BPJOB' which have all the necessary events defined. I am working in version 4.5B. The BOR Object is actually a super-type of BPJOB_SMAN which is used in the scheduling (CA-GTF-SCM) functionality provided by SAP. If you schedule the job through the schedule manager I believe this will raise the events defined on BPOBJ_SMAN. Once these events run you could easily raise a notification email.
