I'm sure that there are third-party tools but I wouldn't know which one to recommend. Better yet, I think you really need to isolate the problem, understand it and then act upon it. If you're working with Windows, I recommend you use Performance Monitor. You can set it up to send you an alert if the CPUs reached 100% of utilization. You can also configure CCMS inside the SAP application and have it send you alerts. Killing the work processes is usually a last resort.
