Can you please answer a few questions about spool logs?
1. Where are spool logs stored?
2. Why do we clean them? Why can't we just delete them?
The TemSe database is the store for temporary sequential data -- objects that are not permanently stored in the system. Spool requests can be kept in the filesystem or inside the database in table TST03. With parameter 'rspo/store_location' you can specify the location. Parameter G stands for filesystem, db for database table TST03.
The TemSe database is not an archiving system. The maximum accessible number of spool requests is limited to 32,000. The default value can be increased if needed. However, this affects performance.
