Duplicated IDocs are being generated in a receiving system, from a single IDoc in a sending system. This appears to be caused by Dialog processes not being available on the receiving system. TRFC is set to supress background job if a connection error occurs, and program RSARFCEX is set to run every 15 mins for connection errors, recorded and system errors. What are the suggested settings? We also currently process inbound IDocs on a batch to reduce time to process and send IDocs immediately. Should we batch outbound IDocs too?
For a detailed analysis I would need more data about your installation and set-up. However, the first try would be to collect all outbound IDocs in the sending system and to dispatch IDocs using ABAP RSEOUT00. This will assure that only one dialog process in the receiving system is consumed at a time.
