I have some Workflows in production right now that listen for events to take place before terminating themselves. If these events are raised, the Workflow terminates and all related Workflow items are automatically removed from users' inboxes. Sometimes, even if the Workflow is terminated, the work items remain in the users' inboxes. I THINK that it may be because the user has at some point reserved the Workflow item. Is there any way to have ALL obsolete items automatically deleted? What are your thoughts?
Without being able to see see your specific case I would say that your assumption is incorrect. When a Workflow is terminated (its status changes to Completed), then all the items regardless if they are reserved, should also be terminated. I would check for another problem, else I would go to OSS.
