We are currently on SAP 4.5B and are using ARIBA for our eProcurement system. Where can I access documentation...
on SAP's product offering and better yet is there a demo version of the SAP product on-line? I'd like to research differences and similiarities of the two products.
Interesting enough, one of my clients did a detailed study between SAP SRM (Originally EBP) and ARIBA and some other eProcurement products. And the final outcome was SAP due to the strategic direction and quite frankly the integration cleanliness that SAP R/3 provided with its eProcurement product (EBP). There is some documentation on SAPMarkets site (www.sapmarket.com) about the product offerings. But one good place would be the ASUG site. The SAP ASUG site (www.asug.com) has a good EBP discussion group. There might be some documents and discussion groups that you could leverage there. Alternatively if you're unable to find anything there, I could forward you a functionality matrix that lists the EBP functionality. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope this was helpful!
