We are trying to generate a report that would show positions per cost center and who is in these positions as well as the vacancies that exist. We would like to be able to choose positions by employee group/subgroup and also run this report by cost center or organization Is this possible and how do we accomplish this?
I believe we may have worked together on NYPA. You could potentially accomplish this by creating an AD-Hoc Query for this report. Have you linked your cost centers to the organizational units or are you only entering cost center information as you hire the employee? If you linked the cost centers to the organizational unit, you would be able to run this report by a standard organizational unit report also showing the employee group/subgroup.
