How to ignore the 0PRODORDER value in BW

The 0PRODORDER value is usually connected to the 0OPERATION value in BW reporting. In this expert response, Jay Narayanan teaches how to run the report with only one value.

I need to produce a report on labor hours and quantity by 0OPERATION only; however, 0OPERATION is compounded to 0PRODORDER. The typical query will always add the 0PRODORDER value to the front of the 0OPERATION value, so that the common 0OPERATION values are not condensed into a single row. This is great for most of our reporting needs, but this one report wants to ignore the 0PRODORDER value. How can I make this report ignore order and only report on operation?
You can drag it back, drag to the filter area or hide it by selecting 'No Display' from the characteristic properties.
