We are into the process of implementing CRM in our company, we need to customize the opportunity screen, e.g. merging two tabs, changing the position of fields, will you guide us on the right approach to start it so that it will ease out doing upgrades.
Opportunity screens can be customized using transaction variants. Go to transaction SHD0 to create a transaction variant with reference to opportunity transaction. Please find the IMG Path for assigning the transaction variants to the transactions below.
Go to customer relationship management ?ansactions --> basic settings --> user interface settings --> assign transaction variants to transaction types.
Perform complete screen sequence control processing via transaction CRMV_SSC.
