I have a number of workflow administrators in the field who logically delete workflows on a regular basis for maintenance...
purposes. In 4.0b, this was easily done by accessing SWI2, opening the WS task and doing the LD from there. Now, in 4.6c, these seems to be a longer drill down path to reach the LD functionality. I.e. SWI2_freq + drill down to errored task + GOTO Technical Display + go to CHANGE mode + Logically Delete. Is there a shorter way to accomplish this without having to switch to "Technical Display"?
Have a look at transaction SWUF. This is a general administrative transaction which allows administrators to do all sorts of things, including deletion of work items (workflows). They could event set up a variant which allows them to quickly select work items that are in ERROR.
