I am using NetWeaver 04, and I'm trying to create a Web service that could connect to R/3. Is it possible to use the "SAP Enterprise Connector" to create a web service? I do not want to use the se37 ABAP transaction to create the WSDL file, because we have an old version of SAP. If we cannot create a Web service using the SAP Enterprise Connector, how else can we do it?
If it is a standard Web service you can check if there is an entry in http://ifr.sap.com, where all BAPIs and IDocs are listed. Otherwise, you can download a similar WSDL and edit it with a convenient editor, like a text editor (e.g. Notepad) or with a professional XML editor like XMLSPY (http://www.xmlspy.com).
