A loop is created to resend an email customer created by a method. Can you break out of a loop regardless of the condition? The last step within the loop checks to see if a document is cleared. The condition is based on whether this document is cleared or not.
Here is the catch, there is a deadline monitoring set on this step for every 3 days. So, if the user goes in to clear the document from their initial notice, the "check document" step will still wait 3 days before moving on and ending the loop. The deadline is a "requested start."
When the user clears the document, an event should be raised. This may already be there (provided by SAP) or you may have to find an appropriate user exit and raise your own event. The workflow then traps the event and processes accordingly. This means that you don't need your 'check document' step at all as the workflow is immediately notified when the document is cleared.
