Summary:

Live SAP databases can grow rapidly. Rates of 50% and more per year are the norm, not the exception. Unfortunately, as Production data grows so does the rest of the landscape. Since a typical SAP environment is usually created by copying the full Production database into the QA, sandbox or training system, it is easy to end up with copies adding to terabytes of data – much of it unnecessary bulk.
This webcast addresses this situation heads-on, discussing the true (and hidden) costs of storage, other liabilities of large non-production environments and a solution introduced by Gamma that selectively removes unwanted, obsolete, unnecessary data to render a system that resembles Production, but on a much smaller footprint.
