SAP TechEd 2012: Big data and SAP HANA driving encryption, says one attendee

SAP points out that its HANA in-memory platform was created in large part to address the challenge companies have of dealing with massive amounts of data, both structured and unstructured.

Holding and keeping more information often means a growth in the amount of sensitive information. As a result, more companies need to consider encryption when processing data -- along with technologies like SAP HANA.

In this video from the SAP TechEd show floor, listen to Scott's take on SAP HANA, big data and why he's hoping to sell SAP on his company's encryption software.
