XI: Search through the payload of a message... without TREX!

I think all XI'ers understand the problem of searching for a single message amidst some thousands of messages.

SAP released the TREX indexing functionality, but how does one manage this problem without Enterprise Portal or having the TREX engine installed?

Well, this simple ABAP code could be a good starting point to develop your self-made search engine; it's very simple but useful in many environents.

This was tested on SAP XI 3.0 patch 14.
