View files on application servers

Use SAP transaction code AL11 to view files on the application server. Mostly, developer FTP/Telnet to see if any EDI files or data files were created or extracted.

The same can also be done from AL11, where you can configure to display any folder on the Application server. It's easy doing everything from SAP instead of opening other applications.
