Track batch jobs with Z tables in SAP

Learn how to track your batch jobs by creating two Z tables in SAP. This user-submitted SAP tip will show you how.

Having a hard time keeping track of batch jobs? Build a couple of Z tables.

Create one table to keep track of job information and the other to keep track of step information. The tables can be queried and maintained via an SAP transaction, and you can have drilldowns into APAB code totally integrated with SAP tables.

A report can generate the requirements for the job scheduling group and then build your job.
