Status of BAPI programming classes

Some people have complained that they are confused about the status of the BAPI programming classes for Java (SAP Java Connector (JCo)) and Visual Basic. Here is some updated information:

The Java class is officially called BIT526, but in some countries still offered as CA926. It is the same class and applies to all customers on 3.1 or later.

The Visual Basic class is officially called BIT525, but in some countries still offered as CA925. It is the same class and applies to all customers on 3.1 or later. The classes are at least offered in Germany and the US. For other countries, contact the local SAP organization.
