Preventing Web access via SAPGUI

Preventing Web access via SAPGUI

If you have users at your company that are browsing the Internet via SAPGUI and would like to turn that option off, here is how you do it. Using SM30, enter table name SSM_CUST. Hit the maintain button, enter values ALLOW_WEB_ACCESS and NO. The effect on this change is that you will notice that "Favorites" -> "Add other objects" will be grayed out. This was successfully done in SAP 4.6C and SAP BW 3.0
