Opening workbooks with BEx analyzer

If you are getting errors from Excel when attempting to open a workbook using the BEx analyzer, try putting the analyzer toolbar in a different location other than at the top with other Excel toolbars (i.e., put it on the far left side so it is arranged vertically). There is a conflict with the "Clipboard" toolbar and the toolbar for BW. If your clipboard tool bar is turned on (which it does automatically when doing a lot of copy/paste functions) the analyzer toolbar causes a conflict.
