Maintain local work directory

How to change the local Work Directory of SAP GUI? People generally use the lengthy procedure of changing the same in .ini file or change some environment variable, etc.

The easiest, simplest and fastest way is execute the T-code SO21. It will ask you for the Work Directory, set the desired one and you are through! No need of any restart, etc.
