Installing Oracle8i For SAP 4.6c SR2 On Pentium 4(IV)

If you want to install SAP R/3 4.6c SR2(IDES) - 
Oracle 8i on Windows 2000 Server - on Pentium 4(IV),
you will have to download JDK 1.18_008 
from 
 http://java.sun.com/products/jdk/1.1/download-jdk-windows.html

    Login 

 installing JDK, You should copy entire Oracle 8i CD in Harddisk. 
Install the downloaded file.

Copy the contents of the entire folder from this path 

(Program Files)JavaSoftJRE1.1*.* to Orale 8i copied CD on path
(Oracle Folder)NTI386stageComponentsoracle.swd.jre1.1.7.301
DataFilesExpandedjrewin32.

Run the installation of Oracle 8i from harddisk which you have already copied to your harddisk.
