Display vendor names with all combinations of a parameter

This piece of code will show a list with all the vendor names and all the combinations of a given parameter.

Study the select statement carefully and the usage of the dynamic where clause. Also notice the usage of the field symbols.

  
REPORT ZDEMO_LIKE_STATEMENT.

DATA L_NAME1 LIKE LFA1-NAME1,
L_SYMBOL VALUE '%'.
FIELD-SYMBOLS <FS> TYPE ANY.
DATA : T_LFA1 LIKE LFA1 OCCURS 0 with header line.
PARAMETERS : NAME1 LIKE LFA1-NAME1.
CONCATENATE NAME1 L_SYMBOL INTO L_NAME1.
ASSIGN L_NAME1 TO <FS>.
SELECT * FROM LFA1 INTO TABLE t_LFA1 WHERE NAME1 LIKE <FS>.
