Check before publishing your code on the Web

A simple workaround will allow you to publish code with information in brackets.

Check your ABAP or other codes before publishing it over the web as anything written between angle brackets ( e.g....

< dir > or < fieldsymbol> ) will be shown as blanks. This is because anything like this is considered as an HTML Tag by the browser.

My last tip about downloading the results of SQ01 queries in background, was completely spoiled because of this.

A workaround solution is to insert a blank after tag opening (eg. "< fieldsymbol>" ), though a better solution might exist.

I think that Web sites publishing code should consider a Web-converter tool for the codes.
