The Self Service Scenario does not require XI or the Live Auction Cockpit as mandatory technical components. According to the SRM 5.0 Component matrix published by SAP, the CCM component is a required install. However, organizations that choose not to utilize the CCM solution would have the option of not configuring CCM.
