SAP user CHEP, a provider of pallet and container pooling services, upgraded its SAP R/3 product while also upgrading various legacy systems. This transition posed a tremendous IT and business challenge, since any one of the changes could have caused downtime and transaction failures in CHEP's entire system infrastructure.
