Influencing SAP: User group helps define SAP strategy

The Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG) has been growing its list of active influence councils, giving SAP customers a say in the way the company updates its applications and adds new features to its product set. Matthew Rickard, executive vice president of ASUG and David L. Johnson, director of ASUG's sales and marketing team, discuss the group's active influence councils. In this interview, Rickard, a project controls and procurement manager at New Brunswick Power Holding Corp., and Johnson, a business process consultant in the Service Enterprise Unit at Dow Corning Corp., discuss how an influence council is formed, the role SAP plays in their formation and how SAP customers can benefit by taking part in an influence council.
