SAP Portal's has added automatic content synchronization business portal product and IDS Scheer was cited for its work with the SAP Innovation Institute.

SAP Portals updates product

SAP Portals Inc., San Jose, Calif., a subsidiary of SAP AG, has developed a new release of its SAP Portals Enterprise Portal that features automatic content synchronization, open knowledge management platform and a set of business packages. The product supports open standards such as Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP and Microsoft .NET as well as security standards such as LDAP, Active Directory Services, PKI and X.509 and wireless and mobile device accessibility.


IDS Scheer cited

IDS Scheer Inc., Berwyn, Pa., a provider of business process improvement services and tools, received the Outstanding Partner Award from the SAP Innovation Institute. The award, recognizes IDS Scheer's support of SAP America's research and educational initiatives. The company is involved in the SAP Innovation Institute.


Fronstep selling CRM product

Frontstep Inc., Chicago, a provider of business software and services for manufacturers and distributors, has released Frontstep CRM, its new business process-driven customer relationship management product. Web-based, it is designed specifically for manufacturers and distributors of discrete products and includes integrated product catalog, configuration, quotation, inventory availability, ordering and support capabilities.


PeopleSoft product cited

PeopleSoft's CXRM mobile sales product received a best of show award at CeBIT 2002. It was given to PeopleSoft, Pleasanton, Calif., by German publications TeleTalk and Computer Telephony for the product's mobile synchronization technology.


Esker updates Pulse

Esker Software, Stillwater, Okla., has released its Pulse version 2. New features include Pulse Connector for mySAP.com, which enables multi-format delivery of business documents generated by mySAP.com or existing SAP R/3 solutions, Pulse Web Interface designed to make it easy to create and send ad-hoc or broadcast e-documents from a desktop and enhancements for distributed architectures.
