ISM cites mySAP CRM

ISM Inc., a consulting and analysis firm focusing on customer relationship management solutions in Bethesda, Md., ranked SAP's mySAP CRM software to its list of top 15 CRM software packages. ISP tested dozens of packages and based rankings on 166 criteria, including 107 business functions, 41 technical features and 18 user-friendliness and support issues.

Canada Post wins CRM award

Canada Post was awarded the Gartner Customer Relationship Management Award of Excellence at Gartner's annual CRM conference in Chicago. More than 190 companies were vying for the award from Gartner Inc. research and advisory firm. Canada Post's CRM program was launched less than two years ago and is powered by the mySAP.com e-business platform, and uses the expertise of implementation partners SAP, Walldorf, Germany, and Accenture management and technology services company in New York.

Salesforce.com cited for CRM

The Aberdeen Group marketing analysis and positioning services firm named salesforce.com's customer relationship management implementation at Textron Fastening Systems as a 10 CRM implementations of 2001. This is the second consecutive year salesforce.com was been named in the report. Salesforce.com is in San Francisco.

Syspro ranked tops in ERP

Syspro Group's Impact Encore software ranked first in overall satisfaction in the middle market enterprise resource planning category and second in the entry level ERP software category in preliminary results of the 2002 Accounting Research Satisfaction Survey. The Accounting Research Satisfaction Survey is an annual, independent research project undertaken by Salmon & Associates on behalf of K2 Enterprises, a firm that conducts seminars for certified public accountants. Syspro is in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Microsoft sets SAP record

Microsoft, Redmond, Wash., has set a new record on the SAP AG Standard Application Sales and Distribution Three-Tier Benchmark, a standard used by companies to measure the scale-up performance of SAP-based systems. A 32-processor Unisys Corp. database server running Microsoft Windows Datacenter Server Limited Edition and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition set a new high-watermark with 26,000 concurrent SAP Standard Application SD Benchmark users, averaging a 1.97-second response time with a throughput of 2,606,000 fully processed business line items.
