Due to the terrorist attacks in the United States this week, Sap has canceled a number of events scheduled for next week. They are The Industry Analyst Summit, scheduled for Tuesday, a New York press conference scheduled for Wednesday, SAP Global Systems Symposium, Wednesday through Sept. 21, the SAP E-Business Summit, Wednesday and Thursday, and the Asia Pacific E-Business Summit, Thursday through Sept. 21.

Vignette selling Vignette V6

Vignette Corp., New York, is now selling its new Vignette V6 software, a set of integrated content management applications that enable organizations to interact online with their customers, employees and partners. Vignette also launched Vignette Content Extensions, a set of modular applications that offer additional functionality, such as advanced support for mobile devices. The new products integrate with SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft and other front and back office applications.

Plumtree released updated portal

Plumtree Software, San Francisco, released the Plumtree Corporate Portal 4.5. It designed to search multiple content indexes in parallel, extend single sign-on to the applications integrated in the portal and delivers Gadget Web Services to wireless devices, the company said. It also has a new user interface.

INFIMACS II updated

Relevant Business Systems, San Ramon, Calif., has enhanced its INFIMACS II Enterprise Resource Planning with new estimating management tools. Users can generate estimates for new or existing products, customize estimates for customers or prospects, change estimates to quotes and orders, convert prospects to customers and extract data in reports and queries, the company said.
