SAP to deliver integrated learning management software
At the International Human Resources Information Management Conference 2001 in San Diego, SAP announced the delivery of learning management software as part of mySAP.com. It will be integrated with the mySAP Human Resources (mySAP HR) offering. Customers of mySAP HR, mySAP CRM and mySAP Public Sector will be able to use the learning management application. It is a system that provides role-based educational content customized for individual learning styles and specific training needs for a company's employees, partners and customers.
Gold Banc selects SAP for hosted e-business software
Leawood, Kansas-based Gold Banc Corp. has selected mySAP.com to provide a common information platform across multiple business units and operating sites. Gold Banc has chosen a hosted delivery format for cost-effective implementation of mySAP.com to replace legacy systems, utilize strategic financial information and improve the delivery of job-related information to employees, the company said. It will use mySAP Financials to integrate their information.
Itelligence brings SAP e-business software to Brann Worldwide
Cincinnati-based itelligence Inc., an SAP Services Partner and a SAP Certified Business Solutions (CBS) reseller, has successfully implemented its industry-specific software for advertising agencies and media businesses, the company said. The software, known as it.agency, assists Wilton, Conn.-based Brann Worldwide, a direct marketing company, with its business technology processes.
Integrated Device Technologies integrates i2 SCM and SAP R/3
Dallas-based i2 Technologies Inc. has announced that Santa Clara, Calif.-based Integrated Device Technologies (IDT) has integrated its i2 Supply Chain Management (SCM) software with its SAP R/3 system and mySAP applications. IDT used i2 TradeMatrix Rapid Optimized Integration for R/3 for the integration. With the software integrated, IDT can now automate its supply chain planning and global order management, which it said will improve customer service and reduce inventories.
Divine introduces two new portals for financial services
Chicago-based divine inc. has introduced two new portals for the financial services industry. These new portals, Financial Markets Insight and Investment Banking Insight, deliver content sources, analytical applications and data about international companies and markets that financial services professionals require through a Web-based portal. These allow companies to give employees a mix of applications and content from various sources, while tracking the usage.
