SAP America names former Siebel general manager as vice president of mySAP Customer Relationship Management

SAP America Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of SAP AG, has named former Siebel Systems Inc. General Manager Michael S. Park vice president in charge of mySAP Customer Relationship Management (mySAP CRM). He will lead mySAP CRM efforts in the Americas. He will oversee positioning, delivery and sales of mySAP CRM solutions across all vertical industry segments and among SAP customers and partners.
Park was general manager of industry solutions, director of product marketing and product line manager at Siebel from 1997 to 2000. He joins SAP from Hire.com, where he was senior vice president of products.

Financial supply chain service provider TradeCard and global IT consulting firm Cap Gemini Ernst & Young will deliver and integrate TradeCard's patented financial supply chain services to help companies improve the efficiency of working capital and business processes within their financial supply chains.
According to a Cap Gemini Ernst & Young benchmarking study of 150 large companies, automation of the financial supply chain with TradeCard's technology along with targeted business process realignments could save companies 50 to 100 basis points of top-line revenue.
The two companies are working together to connect TradeCard's services to a wide variety of financial institutions, corporations and B2B marketplaces.
SAP AG selects iPass to provide global remote access for its 12,000 employees
Under a recently signed agreement, more than 12,000 remote employees of SAP AG will be linked to the corporate network and the Internet via the iPass secure remote access service. The deal should help SAP save more than 60% per year in remote connectivity costs, infrastructure and network administration overhead.
Using iPass Corporate Access, SAP employees will be able to access the Internet, e-mail, mission critical network applications and other corporate resources over local dial-up, ISDN and broadband connections.
The iPass network includes 11,000 unique local points of presence (POPs) in 150 countries and redundant coverage in major business centers. Secure access control, virtual private networking applications, secure token Ids, encrypted communications, non-repudiation procedures and other strong security measures previously implemented by corporate customers are fully interoperable and supported worldwide by iPass.

Idexx Laboratories Inc. has chosen Catalyst International's Catalyst Warehouse Management System Release 8.1 as part of the CatalystComplete Supply Chain Execution Solution to integrate with its existing SAP/R3 system, providing greater collaboration and visibility across the supply chain.
Idexx plans to implement the CatalystComplete solution throughout its warehouses beginning in Memphis, Tenn. The company expects the system to be fully operational in the fall of 2001.
