Intranet resource frees teacher and administrator time for better education of students
SAP Public Services Inc has successfully installed SAP e-solutions in three school districts: Seattle School District No. 1, Oklahoma City School District, and Polk County (Fla.) Public Schools.
SAP Public Services is, a subsidiary of SAP America Inc., whose parent company is German software maker SAP AG.
The school systems use the SAP solutions to manage budgets, track student and employee records and streamline district operations.
The Seattle public school system is the first school district to use mySAP E-Procurement. The district also uses mySAP Financials. The Oklahoma City school district bought the complete suite of mySAP Public Sector solutions, including mySAP Financials and mySAP Human Resources and selected ea consulting to implement and host the software. The Polk County (Fla.) Public Schools began using mySAP Financials, mySAP Human Resources and mySAP E-Procurement in July 2000.
Healthcare organizations across the country strengthen operations efficiency with SAP solutions
SAP Public Services Inc. has announced several contracts and successful implementations of the mySAP Healthcare solution. New clients include St. Louis-based SSM Health Care Systems, which owns and operates 20 acute care hospitals in four states; the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County/Wishard Health Services of Indianapolis, Ind., the largest integrated delivery network in Marion County; and Boston Medical Center, a private, not- for-profit, 547-bed hospital and leading academic medical center. Longtime customer Vencor Inc. of Louisville, Ky., the largest long term-care hospital company in the nation with 62 hospitals in 45 states, signed a contract to upgrade its current SAP solution to the Internet-based mySAP.com e- business platform.The mySAP Healthcare solution provides a low total cost of ownership and high return on investment while enabling users to improve decision-making capabilities with an integrated solution.
TSC implements and integrates SAP for Citrix Worldwide Management Information Platform
Citrix Systems Inc. has chosen SAP for its global ERP system to meet the company's expanding eBusiness requirements. Citrix made the selection with integration partner Technology Solutions Company (TSC), which began work on the implementation in August 2000 and is expected to go live in the United States in July 2001, and internationally in October 2001.
Citrix selected SAP to service its employees in the United States, Germany, Switzerland, England, France, Italy, Ireland, Australia, Japan and India due to its scalability to support the company's worldwide growth and expansion into new business areas.
Citrix will use SAP modules to manage a variety of business functions, including sales and distribution, finance and materials management. TSC will help integrate these new modules with numerous existing systems, including Vantive CRM and PeopleSoft HR applications. The system will use SAP across all business functions.
