Accenture and SAP AG have expanded their strategic relationship in the energy industry to capitalize on Accenture's industry knowledge and e-commerce delivery capability and SAP's e-business experience to deliver mySAP.com solutions to the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.
With this alliance, the two companies plan to develop new business solutions that use the Web to condense cycle times, reduce inventories and streamline pricing procedures and capacity utilization.

The enhanced fund accounting features in mySAP Public Services provide state and local government agencies and public colleges and universities with the tools to automate compliance with the Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statements (GASB) 34/35 reporting requirements.
The enhanced finance management features provide public service entities the flexibility to record required GASB 34/35 financial information such as infrastructure reporting and depreciation accounting within mySAP PS.
The e-solution simplifies linking specific organizational structures to funds and/or functions and reduces or eliminates redundant organizational accounting codes used primarily for funding and functional purposes.
SAP and RWD announce strategic alliance for user training and support
SAP America Inc. will begin providing change management, user training and support services to SAP customers through an alliance with RWD Technologies Inc. The alliance's new user training and support service offerings, which will be marketed as "SAP user training and performance solutions ... powered by RWD," will complement the project team training programs offered by SAP.
The alliance will make training and support available for as long as the customer uses SAP technology. The change management services will help customers' employees adapt to new opportunities. Learning solutions will help SAP customers create and sustain increased employee performance though a variety of consulting and training services.
