The debut of SAP Shopper Experience
SAP recently announced the debut of the SAP Shopper Experience mobile application. The customer-facing app was created to give grocery store retailers new ways of boosting the loyalty and engagement levels of their customers. The new mobile app allows shoppers to access store coupons and offers, scan products for additional data, create centralized shopping lists that other family members can access, and add chosen items to an online shopping cart, which reduces the time needed to check out.

The Michael Management Corporation, a creator of SAP training programs, has announced the launch of its 2014 SAP training survey. The subsequent report seeks to identify trends when it comes to SAP training issues, training availability, preferred delivery options, and other training challenges that companies and SAP professionals have, according to the San Diego-based company. It also measured SAP users' perceptions of SAP training programs, as well as their expectations and needs for future training developments. The 2014 survey will remain open until February 21. The company is holding a drawing for three free iPad Airs.
CBS acquires logistics vendor
Heidelberg, Germany-based Corporate Business Solutions recently announced they've purchased Leogistics, a SAP partner and specialist in SAP supply chain management (SCM) consulting. CBS said the purchase allows them to now compete with other SCM consulting specialists on a more global scale.
