SAP launched its e-Procurement solution in 1999 with B2B Procurement 1.0., later branded as Enterprise Buyer Professional (EBP). It started off as just a catalog-based Employee Self Service tool and evolved into a robust eProcurement solution. In 2003 SAP launched SRM, Supplier Relationship Management, which not only provided an eProcurement solution but also added a supplier collaboration engine.
