Analysis:
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a great area of emerging technology, but there don't seem to be a whole lot of positions available to work in it. What gives?
Advice:
It's true. There aren't a whole lot of positions in SRM. For some reason, there aren't even very many EBP positions despite EBP being a longstanding and mature SAP product line. If SRM maps into your skill set and it's the area you want to work in, then it could be worth pursuing—but keep a realistic notion of what the job market looks like.
