Bert Vanstechelman works as an independent SAP Basis consultant and has 15 years of professional computing experience. His most recent long-term assignments have been in SAP Basis consulting roles, running many versions of SAP in combination with all possible databases and operating systems supported by SAP. Bert specializes in SAP hardware infrastructures, high availability, installations, release upgrades, backup/recovery issues, performance and tuning and OS/DB migrations.
Bert is a frequent contributor to the SAP Professional Journal and technical advisor to the Solution Manager Expert. He is also the author of three books, The Application Server Upgrade Guide, The OS/DB Migration Project Guide and the ERP Upgrade Guide, all published by SAP Press. |
