Padman Ramankutty, CEO and Founder, Bristlecone, Inc.
Padman founded Bristlecone, Inc. as a premier supply chain solutions company built around SAP infrastructure. Since Bristlecone's founding just three and a half years ago, he has led his team in raising a round of funding, and in the development of solutions for rapid deployment of SCM software - putting the company on track to generate $25 million in services and software.
Padman has more than 17 years experience implementing business packages in various industries, as well as with product and project management. Prior to founding Bristlecone, he was the Industry Product Manager for SAP's High Tech Global Industry Business Unit. While at SAP, Padman assisted in successfully marketing and implementing R/3 as the premier enterprise solution for the semiconductor industry. He also played a key role in the development, strategic assessment and marketing of SAP's Supply Chain Optimization and MES programs. He has held senior operational positions in diverse industries ranging from aerospace and defense, food processing and engineering. Padman holds an MBA in Marketing and an MS in Industrial Engineering.
