QUESTION POSED ON: 04 June 2003
When a profile is changed, you usually have to run user comparison to update it. This then has to be done in all clients. Is there a way to do this automatically via a scheduled task? We use R/3 4.6C.

EXPERT RESPONSE
You can schedule the background job PFCG_TIME_DEPENDECY to do this for you. Run transaction PFUD and select "Schedule or check job for full reconciliation". Then, do the following:
-Click on "Execute".
-Enter a name in the "Job name" field.
-Enter a start date for the job.
-Click on "Execute".
-Click on "Continue" to the create the job.
-Enter a job name and specify the job class.
-Save the job.

That should schedule the job and perform automatic comparisions.
