We have been having a problem where userids are being used over again. Is there a way to view historical information for the fields Last name and First name on the Address tab of transaction SU01?

Should be... (speaking from experience) but not to my knowledge.
You may want to look at the very temperamental address tables 'ADRP'. I'm
not sure but the system assigns a sequential key (person number, if I
remember correctly) for every person specific field in SU01 (there is
seperate table for each field: name, address, phone..); I think that the
system may be assigning a new 'person number' every time a field is
altered... Which could give you some past history.
